Warhol Out West exhibition at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art

Once the Warhol Out West exhibition is installed in the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, we will be examining one of the masters of Pop Art.  As the introductory thought for this class blog, I ask you to reflect on Andy Warhol’s response to a question asked in a 1963 interview published in Art News and then tell us if you think the artist’s answer still applies 50 years later:  “Those who talk about individuality most are the ones who most object to deviation, and in a few years it may be the other way around.  Some day everybody will probably be thinking alike.”  Your thoughts?
